 ECCLA/USC Teacher Awards
Each May, a number of teachers from ECCLA’s targeted
schools are honored at a reception before peers, family and friends. This
takes place at the Doheny Mansion located on the campus of Mount St. Mary’s
College. Each ECCLA-member school is invited to nominate up to two teachers
for recognition. Two of the nominated teachers are then selected to receive
the $500 ECCLA/USC Teacher Awards. The cash awards are made possible by USC-Regina
Hunter Bloom endowment.
 Bogart/USC Family of Five Teacher Awards
In addition to the two annual ECCLA/USC Teacher Awards,
five additional awards are given to one teacher from the five original schools
of the USC Family of Schools. These $500 awards are made possible by an
endowment from Mr. and Mrs. Nelson T. Bogart. The awards recognize outstanding
teachers whose efforts go above and beyond the call of duty.
