Scholarships
Higher Education Scholarships for Eighth Grade Students: This scholarship program provides two $500 higher education scholarships to two eighth-grade students. The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage students to plan for the future, excel academically and eventually enroll in an institution of higher education after graduating from high school. The two students selected will receive the $500 cash awards upon presentation of proof of enrollment in an accredited college, university or trade/professional school in the United States. ECCLA and ECCLA/CA Retired Teachers Association Senior Scholarships: This scholarship program awards $1,000 higher education scholarships to graduating seniors. Some of these higher education scholarships are awarded through the generosity of ECCLA and others are awarded through the generosity of the California Retired Teachers Association. The students selected receive their cash awards upon proof of enrollment in an accredited U.S. college or university. Click here for rules and application form
