Diverse Experience of Immigrant Children
The Harvard Education Review is planning to publish a special issue on Diversce Experiences of Immigrant Children and Youth in Education in order to reframe the dialogue on immigration issues in the United States. As a part of the project, they are looking for essays, stories and visual art from children and youth who have been directly shaped by immigration experience. Click above for submission information.
ECCLA Teacher Awards 2010
ECCLA celebrated the 2010 Teachers Award Reception on
May 20th at the Natural History Museum.
Over 250 teachers, administrators and
guests were in attendance to honor nominated teachers who work in the south Los
Angeles area. 37 teachers were presented with a gift bag, certificate and
