Learn-to-Earn (L2E) Internship Program

The California Science Center is launching its Learn-to-Earn (L2E) Internship Program (click here for description) for outstanding youth leaders, ages 14-17.  The L2E Internship Program focuses on developing science literacy, personal and professional skills, workplace strategies, facilitation and teaching skills, and preparedness for post-secondary education.  Highly motivated youth between the ages of 14 and 17 from local communities interested in the abovementioned topics are being sought.   For more details regarding the position, please click to see the job description.

The internship begins Saturday, October 21, 2006 and continues until Saturday, April 21, 2007.  Interns are scheduled to work each Saturday  from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM and are paid at a rate of $6.75 per hour.  All interns must plan to work for the entire duration of the program in order to be considered for employment.  If there will be a scheduling conflict during the aforementioned dates due to vacation, schooling, or any other reason, please do not apply for the internship.
