2006 Black History Month Essay WinnersEssay Contests

ECCLA, along with USC Civic and Community Relations, sponsors two essay contests every year among its targeted schools.  Both are designed to inspire students and motivate them to practice their writing skills. These are sponsored by USC-Regina Hunter Bloom endowment.

Black History Month (click here for contest rules) and has the theme of “The African American Individual I Know Whom I Most Admire.

Hispanic Heritage Month (click here for contest rules) and has the theme of “The Hispanic/Latino Individual I Know Whom I Most Admire.”
